Dr. Federico Lanzellotti (sub-project 1) presented a paper on nocturnal scenes featuring female singers at the Vienna Court (1701–1715) at the international conference Women in Italian Opera from Baroque to Enlightenment: Dramaturgy, Gesture, Music, Stage, held at the Alessandria Conservatoire (Italy).

The event was part of the international research project Casta Diva.

His presentation offered a fresh perspective on a fascinating chapter of Viennese musical history — seen in the light of the moon.
